Dick Spotted

Heinz Spotted Dick

It's actually pretty tasty, zapped for 30 second and with a little maple syrup drizzled on top. Despite being a pudding, the texture is like a really moist, crumbly cake.

Llama, llama...

Well, I'd never had it before, but I now know that I like duck - at least fried duck in zingy Thai sauces with vegetables.

I've also learned that Ploy's likes to give you a lot of duck; this was the first time I came away from there with a doggie bag.

Genius!

A Deep South Sushi Fusion - What We’re Eating - A Food & Recipe Blog:
Tonight we’re eating sushi with a southern flare. Our sushi was make with blanched collard greens (instead of seaweed paper), sushi rice, slowly-smothered chicken thighs, and oven-roasted okra. The sushi was served on a bed of spicy onion gravy.

Recipe included. Sounds tasty, and the presentation amuses me terribly. The insane nattering in the blog itself amuses me, to.

EDIT: Added bonus! Gander the strange horror of the "weirdest food you've eaten" survey on the right side of the page.

And I Thought Krystals Had Small Burgers

An impressive entry (along with more pictures and construction) in a "small crafts" competition - and entirely edible.

Coca Cola Blak

I bought a pack of Coca Cola Blak and had two of the bottles. Or really, one and a half, to try to give it a fair shake.

It's really very crappy, though it does have the strange and mysterious ability to shift, between sips, from weak coffee with a Coke aftertaste to dilute Coke with a coffee aftertaste.

Also, it apparently doesn't have much in the way of caffiene.

Question...

Is it reallyBetter than Cream Cheese?

Answer pending.

UPDATE: ...

Answer: They're doubtless using a different set of criteria than I am. :) However, it smells somewhat like cream cheese and tastes inoffensive (and as a bonus, vaguely reminiscent of cream cheese).

Pleasant on water crackers, if disappointing until you get over expecting the tang of cream cheese.

Mmm, "Big bowl fresh immerse miscellaneous germ"

Or "Fragrant bone in garlic in strange flavor". An Engrish menu illuminates what is so damned hilarious about, well, Engrish. You know it makes perfect sense in the original language, but someone's unskilled translation brings about utter hilarity.
