Ironically, Getting Numbed Was the Only Painful Part...
...But having a dentist just a trace violently wrench, pry, and then pull my wayward molar out was an incredibly peculiar sensation.

Oh yeah. And getting an old crown carved off feels weird too. My dentist in grad school did REALLY good work, crown-wise...I miss her. Current dentist uses a lower quality of crown, which I expect will need replacement more quickly than the old one did (it lasted a decade before a cavity formed under it, and the other two I got a decade ago are still fine).

Yeah, took a while to adjust to the new crown earlier this year, and I had to give up on my old biteguard. The new crown couldn't be adjusted to fit inside it, and the guard couldn't be adjusted enough to fit around the new (larger) crown. :/ Fortunately, with a little modification, a youth soft mouthguard from the sports aisle does the job for me.

ugh...worst for me was getting my wisdom teeth DRILLED out, I could feel it in my brains.

Yeah, that's part of why I opted for general when I had all those taken out.

When I had my Wisdom teeth out I elected to do all four at once. THANKFULLY, I wasn't immune to novocaine yet.

Not so lucky on the root canal some years later!
